Royal Enfield has announced the redesigned 2024 Classic 350. The motorcycle has new features and cosmetic improvements, but its mechanical specifications are unchanged. Let's examine the new features of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 for 2024.
LED lighting has been added to the motorcycle's headlamp, position lamps, taillight, and turn indicators by Royal Enfield. The Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 both have the same LED headlamp. In addition, the new Classic 350 features a gear-position indicator, a USB-C charging connector, and adjustable clutch and brake levers. However, the majority of these functions are limited to higher-spec models.
Apart from the aesthetic and feature enhancements, the technical aspects of the new Classic 350 have not altered. It still runs on the 349cc, single-cylinder J-series engine, which produces a maximum torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm and 20.2 horsepower at 6,100 rpm. A five-speed gearbox is connected to the air/oil cooled motor. The engine is renowned for its tractability and easy cruising, and it delivers heaps of torque in the low- and mid-range.
From the departing model, even the cycle parts are retained. Thus, it still uses twin shock absorbers and telescopic forks for suspension. Base models have a disc/drum arrangement with single-channel ABS, but higher models have dual-channel ABS with disc brakes on both ends for stopping power.
On September 1, 2024, the new Classic 350 will go on sale in India. We anticipate a price increase of up to Rs. 7,000 above the outgoing model. It will face off against the Honda CB350 and Jawa 350.
