Get Ready to Rev: Skoda’s Game-Changing New Model is Almost Here!

 Skoda launched the name of its new sub-compact SUV



Yes, After Skoda has given the option to select the names for their new SUV to Indians. After much wait and suspense Skoda has announced the sub compact SUV name which is Kylaq.

We all know that Skoda is planning to launch a sub compact SUV where the market is heavily filled with the likes of Nexon, Breeza, Venue, Sonet and 3XO. Skoda which is putting some strong presence with the models like Kushaq, Kodiaq, Slavia in Indian market, now planning to take its share for their affordable SUV under 4 metre segment.

By Launching the SUV, skoda is making a statement that, the company is not only for car enthusiasts or someone who knows and values German tech, instead it wants to reach the much wider audience thus increase its market share.

Skoda, one of the company that makes car reliable and thrill to drive cars has been in India for so many long years. It made a comeback with Slavia with new generation platform and then Kushaq and now Kodiaq. The company offers wide range of vehicles in India assuring performance and affordability and reliability.

When talking to the design, the car is expected to come with split headlight setup inspired from the kushaq. The headlight setup will come with LED setup wit day time running LED's and Tail lamps. It also hosts the signature Skoda Butterfly like grill at the front. The car draws more design from its elder brother kushaq. The car has been seen in camouflaged in India while testing thoroughly.

Coming to Engine, we are expecting Skoda Kylaq comes with the 1.0 litre engine which is in Kushaq which helps the manufacturer to come under the tax bracket making the car more dearer to buy. The engine produces 114bhp and 178  Peak torque.

Skoda is planning to come with sunroof variants for Kylaq, Likely to expect for the higher end variants and not for the base trims. We all know Skoda has scored 5 stars in the Global Encap ratings for Kushaq and Slavia, so we are expecting the Kylaq will also achieve similar results making the 5 star car to join with Nexon.

With this vehicle we are expecting Skoda should encourage increasing its dealerships across tier2 cities as the Skoda Kylaq is a mass market product. The other features of the car may expect having the roof rails, shark fin antenna and a brand new interiors.

Well, the car is making bit rounds in social media for its exhaustive testing when considering the launch time in the coming 2025 year. All we have to do is now wait for the updates of the car from Skoda.
