MG Comet EV at ₹5 Lakh and ZS EV at ₹14 Lakh?? here is how you can get them

JSW MG Motor India has broadened its ‘Battery-as-a-Service’ (BaaS) initiative to include its well-loved Comet EV and ZS EV models.

With the introduction of an innovative Battery as a Service (BaaS) plan for the new Windsor, MG has now expanded this offering to its other two electric vehicles, the Comet and ZS. This BaaS program enables customers to acquire these vehicles at a reduced initial price, while opting for a fee structure that charges them based on the kilometers driven, making electric mobility more accessible and affordable.

Impressive Features of MG EVs

The MG Comet EV boasts an impressive certified range of 230 km per charge, complemented by over 55 i-SMART features. Meanwhile, the MG ZS EV is powered by a robust 50.3 kWh battery pack, offering a remarkable certified range of 461 km on a single charge.

Revolutionizing Electric Mobility

The expansion of JSW MG Motor India's innovative 'Battery-as-a-Service' (BaaS) program to include the MG Comet EV and ZS EV is set to revolutionize electric mobility in India. By significantly lowering the initial cost of owning an electric vehicle, this program effectively tackles one of the primary challenges hindering EV adoption—high upfront prices.

Flexible and Affordable Ownership

Customers can now opt for battery rentals based on actual usage, allowing them to pay only for the kilometers driven. This enhances the affordability of transitioning to electric vehicles. Additionally, the program includes a 60% assured buyback value after three years, providing a clear upgrade path and boosting consumer confidence.

Expanding Accessibility through Partnerships

With partnerships from finance leaders like Bajaj Finserv, Hero Fincorp, Vidyut, and Ecofy Autovert, this initiative aims to broaden the reach of EVs, making them a more viable option for Indian consumers seeking sustainable and cost-effective transportation solutions.

Aligning with Sustainable Goals

By simplifying the ownership experience and reducing entry costs, MG's BaaS program aligns perfectly with India's commitment to promoting clean energy and reducing emissions. This initiative encourages a wider shift towards electric mobility across the nation.

How the battery rental program charges

MG Comet EV comes at price of 4.99 Ex-showroom with BAAS program for 2.5 Rs per Km, Where as MG ZS EV comes at price of 13.99 Lakhs Ex-showroom with BAAS program for 4.5 Rs per Km.
