One of the standout features is the touring kit, which remains standard:

  • A functional windscreen for better aerodynamics and wind protection.

  • Knuckle guards to protect hands during long rides.

  • A solid rear luggage rack for touring convenience.

  • A comfortable pillion backrest to make two-up touring much more enjoyable.

While the basic touring setup remains unchanged, the real action happens in the tech and electronics department.

While Bajaj hasn’t overhauled the Dominar 400 mechanically, they’ve made some important tweaks to meet the new BS6 P2 OBD2B emission standards that kicked in from April 2025.

  • Engine: The same robust 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor.

  • Power Output: Approximately 39 bhp and 35 Nm of torque.

  • Transmission: Smooth and refined 6-speed gearbox.

Speculation also suggests that ride-by-wire technology and ABS modes could be introduced, similar to what’s offered on the Pulsar NS400Z. These would further modernize the Dominar’s dynamics and handling, especially beneficial during spirited riding or tricky road conditions.

Expect more color options too, although Bajaj has kept those under wraps for now. Given the updates, a slight price increase over the current ₹2.26 lakh (ex-showroom) is anticipated, but the value-for-money proposition remains intact.
